Tata Elxsi announces availability of Release 9 upgrade for its Home eNodeB L2/L3 stack at Femto World Conference
London, June 22, 2011: Tata Elxsi Ltd, a market leading third-party software IP provider for 3GPP LTE standards and part of the $70 billion Tata group, today announced the availability of Release 9 upgrade for its Home eNodeB L2/L3 stack at the Femto World Conference in London, UK. This includes a SON framework with support for ANR, Mobility Load Balancing, Mobility Robustness Optimization and ICIC; apart from femto-specific features such as Closed Subscriber Group, LIPA, Hybrid Access, Inbound Mobility and others.
Tata Elxsi offers fully integrated reference designs for 3GPP Release 8/9 compliant LTE base stations on COTS hardware comprising L2/L3 and L1 integrated with Radio and tested with third party UEs and core network elements. Further, Tata Elxsi also provides complete EMS framework for LTE femtocells based on 3GPP specifications, and NMS software for managing LTE small cell networks.
