QUANTUM inks partnership with Tata Elxsi to expand sales presence in India
Sales and Marketing Agreement Strengthens Distribution Reach of Quantum Disk, Tape and Software Products
Bangalore/Singapore, June 8, 2010 –
Quantum Corp. (NYSE:QTM), the leading global specialist in backup, recovery and archive, today announced it has entered into a distribution partnership in India with Tata Elxsi, a product engineering company of the $70 billion Tata Group. Tata Elxsi will market, resell, service and support Quantum disk-based backup, tape and software products in India. These products will be marketed to end users, as well as other India-based value added resellers. In addition, Tata Elxsi will become a Quantum Authorized Service Provider which will allow the company to provide maintenance and support services for customers and channel partners.
