Dhara, one of India’s most trusted edible oil brands is today a Rs. 350 crore brand which stands for purity, freshness, taste and value for money. Though the brand expanded with an extensive portfolio of 10 different variants, but the existing players and entry of new players were perceived to be premium over Dhara.
To create a strong differentiated look for this iconic brand of Mother Dairy, we took up the challenge to communicate the goodness & efficacy of the brand, its variants and the premium positioning through a new visual language. We worked on redesigning the visual language for the 5L Jerry Can, 1L Pouch for Dhara Life (Rice Bran), Dhara Kachi Ghani (Mustard Oil) and Dhara Health (sunflower) variants to create a distinction and establish credibility of being healthy in the consumer’s mind.
The new visual language for the 3 variants of Dhara Oil were launched pan India about 8 months back and reactions from retailers, consumers and employees have been encouraging.
