QA Engineer / Lead
Tata Elxsi works with leading OEMs and suppliers in the automotive & transportation industries for R&D, Design and Product Engineering Services, right from architecture to launch and beyond. We bring together technologies that accelerate development & testing of connected, autonomous and electric cars & off-highway vehicles.
We are looking for bright and passionate engineers, senior engineers, and leads who are familiar with QA in the areas listed below:
- Design, develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Java/Python, Cucumber and TestNG/JUnit
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the system requirements and design automation test cases using BDD (Behavior Driven Development) approach
- Write and execute Cucumber feature files to test the functionality of the application
- Identify and analyze defects, report and track them until they are fixed
- Continuously improve the test automation framework and processes
- Participate in code reviews to ensure that the code is maintainable and meets the team's standards
- Keep up-to-date with the latest testing best practices and technologies
- Strong knowledge of Java/Python, Selenium, Pytest Cucumber, TestNG/JUnit, Jenkins and Git
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and BDD
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
