We are looking for a bright and passionate Backup Service Delivery Engineer

Job Description:

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Networker (19. X), Avamar, DD, Cohesity and its modules, DPA, IDPA, PPDM, DPA, CR, ECS , VM backups, and Tape Libraries. Solid knowledge of backup and restore skills.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience on backup administration on above mentioned products
• Backup and Recovery with Symantec Backup Exec or similar Enterprise Software
• Knowledge of working in the IT industry monitoring and managing IT infrastructure components.
• Also, client backup configuration requirements for backup agents. Good knowledge in administration and creating reports on reporting tools like Dell EMC DPA
• Backup software integration with most used applications in the industry (e.g., Backing up MS Exchange, SQL, Oracle, Lotus Notes, VMWare, DB2)
• Understanding of Backup and recovery Concepts and troubleshooting.
• Skilled on test and acceptance, PEQ, technical RACI, capacity planning & Problem Management
• Knowledge of EMC Data Protection product suites and Skills in Storage and virtualization and cloud technologies.
• Install, Configure, and Manage various software/ services on cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with any scripting languages such as Perl /Shell/Python/Java, R, etc.
• Understanding of methodologies like ITIL, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and SRE
• ITIL v4 Foundation preferred
• Strong in OS Fundamentals – Windows, Linux, VMware and others
• Flexible to work in shifts 24x7
