We are seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Competency Manager – System integration and Transformation
Role and Responsibilities:
- Strategize and plan for Competence Development initiatives for the Business Implementation team for immediate, mid-term, and long-term needs based on the business projections and expansion plans
- Build and lead a group of subject matter experts to drive the innovative services and help scaling
- Drive the development of solutions and skills aligning to the business plan
- Researches competitive frameworks and solutions to adequately address and dispel customer objections that arise in a sales campaign.
- Presents and markets the technical design and business value of proposition, solution and business case to customers, prospects, and internal sales management.
- Collaborate with the sales team to qualify opportunities regarding customer technical requirements, competition, and decision-making process and funding.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Overall 12+ years of experience industry with specializations in Digital Transformation or Telecom
- At least 2+ years of experience in business strategy or business development or pre-sales
Must-have Experiences:
- Skilled in communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work in a matrix organization and wield influence with limited authority
- Skilled in Technology leadership and able to provide oversight and direction during initiation and execution of IT projects - Architecture/Design review, Requirement Analysis, Testing, Roll-out, Operations & Maintenance.
- Skilled in IT Governance, Risk and Compliance, SLAs, IT services, Policies and Process management
- Skilled in-service delivery models, technologies, process improvements, reference architectures and architecture frameworks
- Skilled in client engagement, consulting, client needs assessment and the ability to recognize opportunities for future business within an account
- Good knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs, combined with strong understanding of business process, applications and infrastructure architecture
- Good knowledge about the current technology landscape that is influencing the industry.
Must-have Technical Skills:
- Skilled in any of the front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
- Skilled in any of back-end languages (e.g. Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
- Skilled in databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
- Hands on experience in addressing containerization, auto scaling, disaster recovery and working with cloud and on-prem deployments (e.g. AWS, Azure, docker, Kubernetes, VMWare)
- Hands on experience in building microservices and adopting other scalable architectures
- Experienced in standard notations BPMN, C4 model, UML models etc
- Experienced in using or helping to build Application architecture, network architecture, deployment architecture, scaling architecture etc
Desirable:
Domain experience in Telcom and Media
