Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Implement new features and extend existing functionality or develop from scratch on the products by writing the code using the required programming language and technologies
• Provide complete implementation with unit testing done
• Work with Managers/Leads/Developers/Testers across locations in delivering the software as per the project plan within the committed timelines without compromising on quality using Agile methodology
• Work with Test teams during test phase, debug, fix and test the issues raised during multiple levels of testing
• Prioritize, debug and fix the critical/escalated issues with quick turn-around time
• Work with CTS teams during customer platform issue session through remote support or on- site support to analyze, debug, and fix issue in timely manner.

Key job requirements:

Experience:

• Bachelor/Master of Engineering, MCA with overall experience of 5-8 years

Skills & Competencies:

Must Have:

• Minimum 5yrs of experience
• Experience in working embedded networking product and proficient in networking protocols
• Work experience in Kernel and Device driver development and debugging
• Work experience in, board bring-up, hardware schematics, SDK integration, porting to new architectures
• Work experience in Linux system programming, application development experience and debugging skills
• Hands on work experience in Device tree, File systems, cross-compilation toolchains, Makefiles, Autotools
• Work experience in networking features & protocols - Routing, Bridging, NAT, IPv6, Firewall, QoS, IPSec, VPN, PPPoE
• Hands on troubleshooting and debugging is must.
• Work experience in Opensource projects
• Work experience in Shell, Python, LUA scripting will be plus.
• Experience in using Network test appliance like CD Router, Spirent
