The Product Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive product growth and meet revenue targets. This role requires a strong understanding of the product, market trends, and excellent sales management skills to lead a team effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve product sales targets and maximize revenue growth.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive threats. Utilize insights to refine sales strategies and product positioning.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and providing solutions to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand product reach and market penetration. Develop and nurture relationships with potential clients.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to management. Forecast sales projections accurately to support business planning and decision-making.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, features, and benefits. Provide training and support to the sales team to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- MBA is a plus
- Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the SaaS product line
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies
- Ability to travel as needed
- Knowledge of CRM software and sales analytics tools
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
- MBA is a plus.
