We are seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Senior Product Manager.
Required Skills:
- Overseeing the entire lifecycle of products from conception to launch and beyond.
- Collaborating closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to align products with customer needs and company goals.
- Developing and executing product strategies that align with the company’s vision and objectives.
- Managing the business case for multiple products, including revenue, go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and cost management.
- Adjusting product strategy based on market conditions and emerging trends.
- Ensuring products meet customer needs and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Maintaining strong communication with internal teams and stakeholders to drive successful product development and launch.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Own and Maintain the digital product business, including the business case for the set of products managed.
- P&L responsibility includes revenue management, forecasting, cost management, constantly monitoring product success KPI for a portfolio of product.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's vision and goals for the portfolio of products managed
- Conduct market research, analyse industry trends, and gather feedback from customers to identify opportunities for product innovation and growth.
- Create and maintain and managed a product requirements document that outlines the use cases, DoD, acceptance criteria, prioritisation of use cases.
- Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the prioritized features and enhancements based on customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
- Communicate the roadmap effectively to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Work closely with engineering, product team and design teams to prioritize features and define product requirements
- Make data-driven decisions and trade-offs to ensure that resources are allocated effectively and product milestones are met.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to drive product development efforts from ideation to launch
- Foster a culture of collaboration and transparency to ensure alignment across teams and successful product delivery.
- Participate in product demonstration, conveying the value proposition to customers and ensure the products positioned appropriately for the sales to take it to market
- Champion the user experience and advocate for the needs of our customers throughout the product development process.
- Lead product launches and go-to-market strategies, working closely with marketing and sales teams to generate excitement and drive adoption.
- Develop product messaging, positioning, and sales enablement materials to effectively communicate the value proposition to customers.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of our products post-launch.
- Monitor product performance, analyse user feedback, and iterate on features to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a senior role and managing P&L and portfolio of more than 1 product
- Proven track record of managing the full product lifecycle from concept to launch in a relevant industry (e.g., SaaS, automotive, etc.).
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a product's Profit & Loss (P&L), including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies that align product performance with overall business objectives, driving revenue growth and profitability.
- Deep understanding of the industry/domain in which the company operates (e.g., automotive, software development, SaaS).
- Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies relevant to the industry.
- Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and evaluate new ideas with internal and external partners.
- Proficiency with product management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, make recommendations, and drive actions.
- Experience in conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Strong focus on understanding customer needs and translating them into product features and enhancements.
- Experience in gathering and analysing customer feedback to drive product decisions.
- Ability to develop and execute a product vision and strategy that aligns with business objectives.
- Proven experience in prioritizing product features and managing product roadmaps based on business goals and market opportunities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is preferred.
