TATA ELXSI Japan is looking for skilled and passionate Stability Analysis Domain Engineers to be a part of our growing Team !
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- BE/BTECH or ME/MTECH in Mechanical or Automotive engineering with knowledge of automobile parts.
- Experience in tire model development.
- Experience in designing, experimenting, and analysing steering system mechanism and gear meshing.
- Mainly development of tire model when stopped and at low speed.
- Low speed steering force analysis method.
- Development of steering system friction and gear modelling method.
- Steering system friction and gear ratio analysis method. (Including gear meshing simulation)
- Evaluation technology development for stability limit test.
- Relationship checking between J-Turn and tire rigidity (vertical, horizontal).
- Development of evaluation technology for stability limit test.
- Fishhook test BM activity. Take measurement on the car of each segment to examine targets.
- Development of evaluation technology for stability limit test.
- Experience in interpreting and understanding CAE results, post-processing and preparing comprehensive analysis reports.
- Accountable for making sure the plan is followed and is on track to meet the deadline of the gateway.
- Need to monitor the status, and should any roadblock arise, need to contact the right team, and find a solution.
REQUIREMENTS
- Model development experience of CarSim, ADAMS, Tire evaluation, J-Turn evaluation, Fishhook evaluation.
- Understanding of MF-Swift tire model.
- Understanding of rollover resistance, analysis experience, experience of using CarSim.
- Experience in actual vehicle, evaluation testing.
- Creating a model of a car under development.
- Create and pool more and more models of existing cars.
- Implementation of routine calculations and creation of routine report memos.
- Good knowledge on handling automotive vehicle body.
- Good verbal and written Communication Skills.
- Experience with an automotive OEM is must.
- The ability to converse in Japanese is desirable
- Applicants need to be currently located in Japan
