Hazard Detection in excavation site with Vision based perception system for terrain mapping

Hazard detection in excavation siite identifies the presence of obstacles in the path of the exacavator’s arm.It adds an extra layer of protection by identfying the threat near the exacavator’s arm and prevent a collison with objects in the environment.It gives warning which alerts the operator and aids in decision making.

The Vision based terrain mapping visualization feature uses the vision based 3D terrain mapping technology to assist the operator in deciding /managing the machine operations such as choosing the task to be done, monitor it’s progress and validate the job completion. The feature could be enhanced to assign, monitor and manage these tasks from a remote location.
